Engineering and design

Our engineering staff have many years of experience and liaise closely with our customers' specialist departments. This enables us to realise wishes and visions in a targeted manner. We then use the specific requirements to create tool construction plans and optionally optimise part and tool geometries for efficient production. Using state-of-the-art CAD 3D software and powerful simulation technologies, we can simulate data in the shortest possible time, thereby avoiding undesirable developments and enabling cost savings.

The way to the optimum tool for
stamped, formed and deep-drawn parts

SteelCo.Tech offers its customers both stand- alone solutions and the entire process through to series production and across the entire life cycle of the parts.

Tool relocation

We know from experience that production must run as smoothly as possible and without downtime in order to be economically successful. This is why SteelCo. Tech also takes over tools from its customers or other suppliers, for example in the event of machine downtimes or capacity bottlenecks.

Our project planning group examines and evaluates the feasibility of relocation projects and prepares the adaptation to our own production as far as possible. In this way, we minimise the relocation and downtime period and prevent supply disruptions. We also facilitate relocations with remaining lifetimes if a product only has a few years left to run or is already close to being discontinued.

We see ourselves as problem solvers and would like to support you with our expertise and years of experience, even in difficult situations.

Precise quality management
Structurally and personally anchored

SteelCo.Tech attaches great importance to part quality and the improvement of internal and external processes to ensure this:

Structural measures
  • Systematic advance quality planning (FMEA)
  • CAQ over the entire product development process
  • Implementation of ‘lessons learned’ (continuous improvement) project management staff
Measures in manufacturing
  • Ongoing tests at the measuring stations according to specifications
  • Supporting tests using modern equipment and technologies in the measuring room
  • Regular meetings between the production and quality teams
  • Regular instruction and further training for all employees involved
