Accurate punching processes and bending processes are combined in one component - due to their production-related complexity, punched and bent parts require special handling.
The material used for a punched and bent part can have a significant effect on the later properties of the end product. Although strip material in accordance with EN 10132 is now pretty much considered standard, stainless steel and copper alloys offer advantages in many respects. Thermosetting copper alloys and heat-resistant steel, such as Thermelast and Duratherm, represent the pinnacle. In this area, too, Steel offers individual solutions – no matter whether they are for springs, contact plugs or many other punched and bent parts. Peripheral working steps, such as creating the female thread or assembling subcomponents, are undertaken in-house at our company and in an integrated processing step.
